Holy Cross Padre Pio Prayer Group—the next meeting will be held on Friday, 6th, in the Coffee Room after the 12.15pm Mass. All are welcome.
Feast of the Assumption—15th August. To celebrate the parish feast of St Mary’s, Lowe House, there will be a shared lunch after the 11.00am Mass. Everyone welcome.
Public Pilgrimage in honour of Blessed Dominic Barberi, CP will be held at St Anne & Blessed Dominic, Sutton on Thursday 26th August. Mass will be held at 6.30pm. Chief celebrant and guest speaker will be Archbishop Kelly. Refreshments to follow in the Parish Centre.
Mothers’ Prayers Group—Next meeting this Wednesday 4th at 7.30pm in Holy Cross parish hall.

Deacon David Caldwell is the Chairperson of the Town Centre Fellowship and will be leading this evening’s service at Lowe House.
A very big thank you to everyone who helped in any way with last Monday’s Lourdes at Home Day at Lowe House. The Mass and both services were very well attended by parishioners from our two Pastoral Areas. We have also received very positive feedback, so it may become an annual event.
Welcome back to all those who have spent the last week in Lourdes with the Archdiocesan Pilgrimage. We hope that you have all found the week a spiritually rewarding experience.

Hymn books—if anyone has absent-mindedly taken a hymn book home from Holy Cross we would be grateful if they could be returned.

Sick List—This has now been cleared and we are starting again. If you know of anyone who should be on, please , inform the parish office as soon as possible.
Lowe House/Holy Cross Annual Garden Fete—this will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, August 30th.
Volunteers are needed to help—please inform the parish office if you can do so.
We are still collecting items for the fete—most urgently needed items are bottles, toys, games, toiletries (No rubbish please).
Donations can be handed it at church or at the parish office.
Raffle tickets will be on sale in both churches this weekend.
Next weekend will be BOTTLE WEEKEND—If you have any bottles (especially wine/spirits) please bring them along.
