The Soup Man and his Ladies will be back with the soup lunches, starting on Friday February 19th in Holy Cross parish hall, starting at 12.00pm. Why not come along and enjoy our tasty home made soups, meet your friends and support our charities.

during Lent, as follows:
Holy Cross—Fridays at 6.30pm followed by
Evening Prayer & Benediction
Lowe House—Wednesdays at 11.30am (starting 24th February)
Mothers’ Prayers Group—the next meeting will be held on Wednesday February 17th at 7.30pm in Holy Cross parish hall.
The Friends of the Sacred Heart will be holding a Coffee Morning in Holy Cross on Thursday 18th February, starting at 9.30am. All are welcome. All proceeds in aid of the HCPT (Handicapped Childrens’ Pilgrimage Trust.
The Women’s Confraternity will be holding a Jumble Sale in Holy Cross parish hall on Thursday 25th February, starting at 6.30pm.
St Leo’s Parish Time of Prayer & Testimony—Thursday 18th February at 7.30pm. Two young men from the Cenacolo Community (an international Catholic community which helps
people to find new life and overcome addiction) will share their stories. (Licker’s Lane, Whiston)
St Helens Gilbert & Sullivan Society are presenting “The
Mikado” at the Theatre Royal from Wednesday 10th to

Holy Cross—Cards for Mothers’ Day, St Patrick’s Day and Easter are now on sale at the back of church this weekend.
The next Family Walk will take place on Sunday 28th February. Please meet in the porch at Lowe House after the 11.00am mass. Please bring suitable footwear, waterproof jacket and packed lunch.
